"I can't constrain my admiration, listening this masterpiece..." - in such words I want to begin the review of the album "The Tales From A Parallel Universe" by Italians The Twist of Fate. This project was formed in 2014 by the multi-instrumentalist and the producer famous in his environment Giuseppe Verticchio together with Daniela Gherardi which enriched a sound with a violoncello.
Musical material of this release undoubtedly is very unusual and mysterious structure which keeps on a basis that consists from the atmosphere, mood, feelings. It is very difficult to determine this music under frameworks of any genre. Simplicity and an unusual tranquillity open in this creation the infinite horizon for a flight of fancy and soul to worlds where the reality disappears and begin other Universes - dwellings of otherworldly beings . In it essentially other space the consciousness goes beyond the conceiving reason and secret of the Universe slightly open the veil in a resonance with aura of the nature, immersing in depths of the arising processes of life and infinity...

As it becomes clear from all aforesaid, the delightful work focused on a dron/ambient's wave, hocused by booming and deep passages in which the pacification and ease are replaced by the gloomy intonations which are giving rise in the mind indistinct outlines of dark forest landscapes that can't reach any ray of sunlight. The lingering echo of the diverse background rustling with a stream of infinite splashes, buzzes, rustles, crashes creates a volume panorama from harmony and at the same time a low-frequency dissonance. This gloomy palette is rich with uncountable quantity of shades of carefully processed sound and difficult designs, and the repeating arrangements set to music the certain specificity peculiar for a genre dark-ambient's hint on folklore motives.
Giuseppe Verticchio and Daniela Gherard took a confident step towards development of the next project against the main projects making frame of the Italian scene of dark-ambient. Their music can be related with the personal experiences because it is impossibly to be not penetrated by these charming melodies of boundless and silent grief and mysterious beauty of mystical phantasmagorias. Guitar's passages in the foreground, the almost inaudible violoncello, the aloof background atmosphere are capable to describe all it to describe a picture to trifles.
