Tamas Katai is rather visible figure in the Hungarian underground. In the 90th he began himself musical experiments, showing own potential from all directions in different projects, beginning from "industrial" Darklight and ending by Thy Catafalque rather known in underground circles.

But we are moving keep to the point. Tamas Katai preferred not to stop on the reached, and to develop the himself creative ideas independently. A result of this the album "Erika Szobája" is the single solo creation of the musician for today. After listening of the first track it becomes clear that for creation of this excellent album it was laid not only a skilled hand, but all completeness of feelings which sufficiently was revealed in each separate phrase of the long story veiled by morning fog and the last gleams of the summer sun and only for the author is known an original plot.

That would not be motivated to make so unexpected turn towards melancholic neoclassics, style T. Katai primarily as a solo artist is very difficult to define as something specific, it is very eclectic set of various instruments and sound's effects which in total create an unique sounding of the world of surrounding textures. The accurate keyboard passages is put on a neofolk harmony carry away in travel on fragments of own memoirs which continually cause on a heart inexplicable melancholy and also warming by a heat of the days which long ago have sunk into oblivion to the time which so inevitably rushes, leaving in memory only nostalgic experiences. Guitar fingerings, bewitching violoncello parts, background ambient's sketches and the various effects turning out the music into something bigger, than an form of the art - approximately in such laconic way it is possible to try to describe that this talented person built in the still single work, having departed aside from mad experiments and vanguard ideas.

For those who appreciates good music, this album can become the real best-seller.
