Today I would like to share by the next revelation which very successfully fitted into my concept about what has to be music that deservedly to be called as good result of the talented, high-quality work. It is known that for the sake of quality the quantity can be neglected, and in most casies I  met such creations which is modest in the plan of the view, but very substantial works  in which all superfluous is excluded, there remains a place only for an esthetic and emotional essence. All strong works are created by the principle of establishment harmonious merge of a sound with a thin substance of a soul because only this way still  can be such phenomenon of life as art, sincere art...So I would like to characterize that release which awakened in me an intention to try to give for it as much as possible adequate assessment but at first appeares the uncontrollably desire to paint all parties of it in laudatory dithyrambs.

However, we will begin one after another... in 2014 the Georgian project the Ennui was coordinated on the cooperation with other international band the Aphonic Threnody to publish for pleasure of the waiting fans of procession elegies the split that is named "Immortal in Death". Each from performers brought into it the contribution in the form of a song which is only two. You will tell, the brevity is the sister of talent? No, not in this case, because Funeral Doom as that genre often disproves this statement, showing for the world self infinitely long opuses, but many from which represent the boring "tracing-paper" from not less boring "adherents of genre", but many present really worthy things.

The first song "Ruin" as classical examples of the genre enters stumps of the oppressive grief imprisoning in the fetters and convincing in the total absence of desire to live and hopelessness. Generally, all most destructive tendencies found the flesh in this 20-minute monument built by international collective Aphonic Threnody. The composition is stylized in such a way that it is really possible to feel it's funeral-doleful spirit which moves with such energetic plaints of the vocalist that the picture serving as a cover for the album appears in mind, as if something inseparable from this mourning anthem. The powerful, low guitar roar burdened by imitations of funeral bells and from time to time the passing into the plaintive, lingering modulations, unhurried rhythms pressing by dense percussions, gloomy, the deaf, distressed vocal, oppressing even more than music the and giving out the whole scale of a negative - sufferings, despair, madness - this in the total creates the fantastically realistic picture of the soul bearing heavy burden of loss, striking with the depth and tragic element.

So, after 20-minute outpouring of Aphonic Threnody on the funeral watch come Ennui - the duet from the Georgia creating in the analogical path as their colleagues on this split. The track which they wished to include in this split is called as the "Hopeless" and from first seconds immerses into the atmosphere of the other world reigning in all strokes of this work. The full collapse of hopes conducting to a non-return point - the central theme covered in this song. Here as well as in the first song there are fully opened sufferings generated by burdensome reflections about the human existence doomed to a non-existence in this insignificant world. Material sounds so convincingly that doesn't remain doubts that was enclosed in it too much... The idea of a song so harmoniously conforms into the conceptual line of the album at the expense of what 2 compositions are perceived as a unit, mutually continued and complemented. The "Hopeless" is a powerful charge of the slowly flowing stream of the gloomy despondency living in the each weighty riff, in the each phrase sung with such desperate pressure that involuntarily forces to like these feelings which make this album.
